Security
You are trusting us with photos of your home, your invoices and your contracts. That deserves an explanation, not a padlock drawn on a page.
Every invoice, contract and photo is encrypted before it is written to disk, using XChaCha20-Poly1305. Anyone copying the disk gets noise: the files no longer even carry their format's signature.
It lives outside the site's directory, beyond the reach of the technical account used for updates. Access to that account yields unreadable files and no way to open them. Key and data never travel together.
Each block of a file carries a seal. Change one byte, replace a fragment, and the file is refused rather than served altered. You never get back evidence that was modified without your knowledge.
The connection is encrypted end to end and forced to HTTPS: your browser simply refuses to send anything in the clear, even if an old link tried to.
Your attachments have no guessable URL. Every request checks that the file belongs to you before serving it. The storage folder is closed to the web by two independent barriers.
It is not stored. Only an irreversible, salted fingerprint is kept, deliberately slow to attack. We cannot read it, nor give it back to you — only let you choose a new one.

No server-side encryption protects against a fully compromised server: the application must be able to open your files in order to show them to you, so the key is within its reach. What we have put in place protects against the realistic scenarios — a mislaid backup, a recovered disk, a leaked technical password, a configuration mistake exposing a folder. That is where almost every real data leak happens. We would rather tell you than promise invulnerability.

Fire, flood, storm, burglary… After a disaster, your insurer asks for proof of what you owned. Without photos or invoices, compensation is lower, slower and painful.

One overview photo per room, then each item with its value and serial number. SafeNTy estimates depreciation by category, so you know the used value your insurer will apply before you discuss it.
